Hasan AlShafei is a process engineer working in Saudi Aramco. He graduated in 2018 from Oregon State University with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. Hasan has five years of experience in Gas Processing operations, where he has handled several projects in Acid Gas Removal, Sulfur Recovery, NGL & Ethane Recovery, Utilities and Co-Generation units. During his years of experience, he has filed three patents at U.S Publication office, where one of them had already been granted. In addition, Hasan had obtained recognized professional certificates, such as NCEES’s Principles and Practices of Engineering (PE) in Chemical Engineering, AEE’s Certified Energy Manager, and HAZOP Leadership.
